Tatarstan is the top three most sociable regions of the Volga region

In the first quarter of 2021, MegaFon subscribers in the Volga region spent 77 PB of Internet traffic on social networks and instant messengers, which is 4 times more than in the first quarter of last year. Analysts recognized the Samara region, Bashkortostan and Tatarstan as the most active regions living in digital communication mode.

The development of 4G and the fast Internet in the MegaFon network up to 100 Mbit/s allowed subscribers to almost completely move communication with friends and colleagues, and sometimes even business, to social media and messengers.
