The speed of the Internet underground increased 5 times in Kazan

Telecommunication operators accelerated mobile internet at the underground stations of the Kazan metro. MegaFon upgraded underground communication facilities, providing 100 per cent coverage of 4G (LTE).

LTE was launched at the Ametyevo aboveground station earlier.

Mobile Internet underground is in demand as much as on the street. Subway traffic is constantly increasing. The amount of information uploaded increases by 7-10 per cent each month. Daily, while waiting for a train, residents and guests of the capital of Tatarstan download more than 300 GB of data, which is equivalent to watching a 15-hour video in 4K quality.
