The Angelina braille reader, a digital braille recognition platform, developed by a father of many children from the Moscow Region Ilya Ovodov, is used by 2,500 people and 40 specialized schools for children.

The new service allows you to take pictures of Braille pages, upload them to the system and get the full decryption as plain text. The programme recognizes bidirectional text, Russian, English and mathematical languages. To date, it has assisted visually impaired residents in 31 regions of Russia and Uzbekistan.

Recently, the project “Digital Braille Recognition Solution” became one of the winners of the international contest of “Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects” World AI & Data Challenge.
