Purple lights to light up on the Kazan and Nizhnekamsk TV towers

On November 17, Tatarstan joined the #MneNefioletovo campaign, dedicated to the World Prematurity Day. Two TV towers of the broadcasting centres - Kazan and Nizhnekamsk - will be painted purple today. Residents can watch the "purple" TV towers from 17:00 to 23:00.
Purple is the official color of the European Foundation for the Care of Newborn Patients (EFCNI) and the color of the Right to Miracle Charitable Foundation for Preterm Infants, initiated by the campaign in Russia.
The campaign is held in solidarity with families where babies were born prematurely. The purple color symbolizes hope, encouragement, sensitivity, compassion and openness and the desire to help others.
