IT specialists from Tatarstan become winners of the "Digital Breakthrough" in the Volga IT Hub
On September 14, in Nizhny Novgorod, the semi-final of the all-Russian Digital Breakthrough Contest - one of the flagship projects of the presidential platform "Russia - the country of opportunities" finished.
As many as 142 teams took part in the semifinals. In 48 hours, IT specialists from all over the country developed 76 digital products that can improve the quality of life of the population.
Twenty-nine national teams from Tatarstan took part in the contest, 10 of them reached the shortlist and 5 were among the 27 winning teams.
The authors of the best projects shared about 3 million roubles and got the opportunity to implement their projects.
In total, the semifinal hackathon brought together 1,500 specialists from 42 regions. Most of the participants were from the Nizhny Novgorod region. Tatarstan, Perm Territory, Samara and Ulyanovsk regions were in the top 5 regions.
Participants from Tatarstan proposed solutions in data analysis and machine learning, digitalization of the social sphere, business, agriculture, electricity and education. All cases are urgent tasks of companies and the region, and the best solutions, which are already independent IT products will be implemented.
