On March 26, Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications held the Interdepartmental Commission of the Security Council of Tatarstan on information security.
Cybercrime is developing in all countries of the world, the number of information security threats is growing and criminals are coming up with new ways to get personal data. Challenges and threats for the implementation of the development goals of the Digital Economy in information security is the growth of computer crime.
Often cyber attacks are aimed at government agencies and large industrial enterprises. In Tatarstan, in 2019, as many as 7,658 computer incidents were recorded and prevented by information security monitoring systems, 5732 of which were external and 1926 were internal.
The Ministry decided to hold Inter-Agency Commissions of the Security Council of the republic on information security and monthly hear the heads of the Ministries and departments about the state of information security in the organizations they are heading.
The meeting participants discussed the new edition of the "Concept of Information Security Organization in Tatarstan", which was developed and introduced by Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization.
