The conference of business newspaper “Vedomosti” “Implementation of Internet of Things, IoT at modern enterprises” opened in Kazan today. Representatives of authorities, heads of industrial and IT companies discussed implementation of IoT technology at Tatarstan enterprises, domestic and foreign experience in this sphere.

The regional contest “IT champion” 2015 is underway. 45,237 pupils are taking part in the contest. The second part of the contest will be held till November 30. Three pupils from every region that will get more scores will be announced winners. The pupils will be able to exchange their scores for presents: schools bags, jumpers, T-shirts, certificate for school uniform for the sum of 3, 500 roubles.

Development of financial virtual technologies, electronic interaction between federal authorities, Bank of Russia and participants of financial market, the future of bitcoins and Big Data were discussed at the first Kazan forum of innovative financial technologies Finnopolis 2015.

Russian Minister of Communications and Mass Media Nikolay Nikiforov held a plenary session of 12th session of Russia-Slovenia Intergovernmental commission on trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation. The session discussed issues of economic, socio-cultural, public, political, and investment areas of cooperation between two countries.

A press conference of the project “Mobile academy of MTS” on teaching senior citizens to use mobile devices and Internet was held at Kazan IT-park today. The project is implemented by MTS, Charity foundation “Connection of generations” with the auspices of Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications, Ministry of Labour, Employment, and Social Protection and Pension Fund of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tatarstan.

From September 2015 adults can take part in “IT-champion” contest. Tatarstan Ministry of information and communication has introduced new nomination for adult citizens of the republic. Now every active user of the Portal of state services can win a smart phone or tablet, or get the payment for housing and utility services back.
