The final state examination of 75 graduates major in “Information and communication technologies and systems of communication” was held at Kazan branch of Volga state university of telecommunications and informatics on January 25. The examination commissions were comprised of qualified ICT specialists from Tatarstan.

By results of 2015 Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications considered 1,256 requests of citizens 665 of which were about quality of communication services.

The number of complaints about communication services has decreased by 1.2 times.

For the second year in a row the campaign “Hour of code” aimed at promoting IT professions has become one of the biggest educational initiatives in IT industry in Russia. 8.2 million students including 1.8 million children from Volga Federal District attended lessons in 85 per cent of schools.

On January 20-23 the world renowned exhibition BETT-2016 dedicated to information technologies in education. 850 exhibitors presented their achievements and plans in informational support of the educational industry. The event is attended by teachers, students and administrative workers. Russian Deputy Minister of Education V.Kaganov presented its report at the exhibition.  

On January 22, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Azat Mubarakshyn took part in annual session of the Department of Civil Registry Office of Cabinet of Ministers and made a report “Informational support of civil registry offices of the Republic of Tatarstan. Results of 2015 and plans for 2016”.

Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications       instituted an award that was approved by the order dated as of December 18, 2015 № П-254. On January 19 the order was registered at the Ministry of Justice and published on the official website of legal information.

New service geo.pochta.ru is meant for distribution of advertisement and information materials within the region and was created for representatives of small and medium-size enterprises. It helps companies choosing the place of delivery, estimate the service fee, and conclude agreements with Russian Post online.

Applications for participation in 21st selection for business incubator of Kazan IT-park will be received from February 20-21. The selection is supported by competent experts of IT industry and partners of famous venture funds that are ready to consult on every project and help most prospective participants.

Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications summarized results of work in State Information System “Public control” for 2015. By and large, 445 applications were received in categories “Mobile communication”, “Landline communication” and “Post”. Users of mobile services were most active.
