On December 28, a solemn awarding ceremony “Sportsman of the year 2016” was held at Volga state academy of physical culture, sport and tourism. The ministry of youth affairs and sport awarded the best sportsmen and coaches of the republic for the third time.

On December 15, the joint project of the Russian Post and Federal Customs Service on customs processing of goods sent abroad is implemented in more regions. Corporate clients can send parcels abroad under simplified procedure in 469 distribution centers in 185 Russian cities. 12 centers are working in Tatarstan.
On December 20, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a session of Supervisory council of Innopolis Special Economic Zone at Tatarstan Government House. Six new projects with the total amount of investments of 75 mln roubles were considered and approved.
