IoT World Summit Russia 2017, the international event that will discuss opportunities of the key aspects of human needs by means of modern systems and technologies based on “Internet of Things” platforms, will be held on September 19-20 in Innopolis (Kazan, the Republic of Tatarstan).

On September 1, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Timur Zaripov took part in school assembly at Verkhy Uslon upper secondary school. 34 children will start studying at the school this year. The solemn school assembly was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the school.

On September 1, on the Knowledge Day, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Deputy Minister of Education and Science Lyudmila Ogorodova visited Kazan technical school of information technologies. The guests were accompanied by Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov, Minister of Education and Science of the republic Engel Fattakhov, and others.

On August 29, at their meeting at the official residence of Tatarstan President in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and senior managers of ERTICO – ITS Europe discussed prospects for development of cooperation in the sphere of transport technologies, and development of various solutions in the field of intelligent transport systems (ITS) in particular.

On August 28, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov celebrated his birthday. On August 28, at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the founder of the Ethereum project Vitalik Buterin discussed issues related to possible cooperation and interaction in a number of areas.

Hackathon “Blockchain in action” is being held within the framework of All-Russia conference “Blockchain – new oil of Russia” at Kazan IT-park. Names of the best authors of the best projects, who will receive money prizes from organizers and partners of the event, will be announced tomorrow.

A roundtable on issue “Big data: modern approaches to the systems of safety storage, processing, management and assurance” organized by Innopolis University was held within the framework of the international military technical forum “Army-2017” in Kubinka, Moscow region.

A session of the organizing committee of WorldSkills (DigitalSkills) with the participation of Russian Minister of Communications Nikolay Nikiforov, Director General of WorldSkills Russia Robert Urazov, Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov and representatives of IT industry was held at Innopolis University yesterday.
