A roundtable on issue “Big data: modern approaches to the systems of safety storage, processing, management and assurance” organized by Innopolis University was held within the framework of the international military technical forum “Army-2017” in Kubinka, Moscow region.

A session of the organizing committee of WorldSkills (DigitalSkills) with the participation of Russian Minister of Communications Nikolay Nikiforov, Director General of WorldSkills Russia Robert Urazov, Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov and representatives of IT industry was held at Innopolis University yesterday.

A pilot project on implementing voice document management system Voice2Med presented by the Center of voice technologies, the developer of innovative systems in the sphere of multimodal biometry, voice recognition, multichannel record, processing and analysis of audio and video information, has successfully  finished at Children’s regional hospital. The solution aims to make the process of filling in medical documents easier, and therefore, increase the quality of rendered services.

A session of the working group on the formation of the regional segment of the Unified state information system of social welfare was held at the Cabinet of Ministers. The federal system was created for providing information about social welfare measures to citizens, state authorities, local self-government and organizations that render such services.

The 6th international research conference “Topical issues of geodesy and geoinformation systems” will be held in Kazan on September 6-7. The conference will be held during Tatarstan oil, gas and chemistry forum that also includes the international specialized exhibition “GEO-KAZAN: Exploration Geodesy Cartography”.

“Blockchain hackathon” will be held during All-Russia conference “Blockchain: new oil of Russia” at Kazan IT-park on August 27-29.  The event will be dedicated to creation of new products in Blockchain and Fintech industry on the basis of modern IT solutions. 400 participants from Kazan, St. Petersburg, and other Russian cities will take part in the event.  

Partner agreement between ANO “Kazan open university of talents 2.0” and GAU “Technopark in the sphere of high technologies “IT-park” was signed during the session of Summer youth school “Revealing talents”. The agreement is aimed at joint integration of talented children and youth in effective life activity in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Lessons of the first school of blockchain technologies were held at Innopolis University on August 15-21. 17 Russian pupils got familiar with the basics of decentralized systems, algorithmic and cryptographic basis of blockchain technologies and wrote their first smart contracts.
