On October 19, the IoT Samsung Academy laboratory opened at the Higher School of Information Technologies and Intelligent Systems of the Kazan Federal University (ITIS KFU). The KFU has become the third university in Russia, where the programme is operating.

On October 16, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic- Tatarstan Minister of Informatization and Communication Roman Shaykhutdinov said that since the beginning of the current year, a number of new e-services appeared on the Portal of State Services of Tatarstan, in particular, payment of fines for parking in the green zone, payment of funds for self-taxation, receipt of a certificate of the amount of pension, archival information and others.
On October 16, speaking at a meeting, Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Informatization and Communication Roman Shaykhutdinov said that during nine month of the current year, Tatarstan citizens received over 133 million e-services, which is 72 per cent more as compared to the same period last year.
