On May 7, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov held an extended meeting with heads of information and communications enterprises.

A meeting on realization of the second stage of work in social sphere in the system “Organization of rendering of services in social sphere in the Republic of Tatarstan” in accordance with the federal law №422 dated 28.12.2013 “On the basic principles of social services in Russian Federation” was held at Tatarstan Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection on May 6.

On May 6, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov visited Almetievsk region and launched free digital TV broadcasting.

On May 6, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov took part in two events on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Victory in WWII.

Meeting with WWII veterans – workers of information and communications industry was held at Kazan school of information technologies on May 5. Participants of the event were met by an orchestra that played war songs. 400 people gathered at the event.

Water supply services provided by “Vodokanal” can now be paid without commission on the portal of state services.

In connection with forthcoming holidays “The holiday of spring and labour” and “Victory day”, May 1 and 9 are announced public holidays. Therefore, all post offices will be closed.

A meeting on improving the work of employees of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection and its subordinate organizations in the system “Social register of population of the Republic of Tatarstan” and implementation of information technologies in social protection was held on April 30.

On April 30, at a meeting at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers on work of the State Information System “Public control”, Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov said that 6.2 thousand appeals were published in “Public control” system, 60 per cent of appeals have been solved in the first quarter of 2015.

The final of XIX regional contest “Young programmer” was held at Kazan IT-park today. The contest is held among students of secondary schools, institutions of professional and additional education since 1995. It is organized by OOO “Center of information technologies in education” and Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan.
