On September 1, Tatarstan Ministry of ecology and natural resources, Ministry of Information and Communications and Ministry of Education and Science opened a school contest “School eco patrol”.

The 5th all-Russia computer championship among pensioners was held in Kazan on August 23-25. It was organized by Russian union of pensioners, Russian Ministry of Labour and social protection, Ministry of Communications and Mass Media, Russian Pension Fund, and Foundation “Quality of life”.

Specialists of Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications made up rating of popularity of online service “Submission of application for marriage registration” that was launched on the portal of state services in December 2011. Every month citizens submit 3.5 thousand applications. 93 per cent of them are submitted online.

New academic year started at high technology city of Innopolis for 31 students. The number of students is expected to increase twice by the end of this year.

Dias Safin has been appointed director of ROSTELECOM branch in the Republic of Tatarstan. He earlier worked as a commercial director of MTS-Turkmenistan.

A solemn handing over of diplomas to BA and MA graduates was held today at Innopolis University. Russian Minister of Communications and Mass Media Nikolay Nikiforov, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Information and Communications Roman Shaikhutdinov, Mayor of Innopolis Egor Ivanov, Director General and founder of Acronis company Sergey Belousov and Director of High technology park “IT-park” Anton Grachev congratulated the graduates on this important event.

Representatives of Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications took part in a session of Consultative council on development and use of the infrastructure of e-government under Russian Ministry of Communications and Mass Media.

On August 28, Acronis and SEZ “Innopolis” signed agreement on cooperation. The document implies creation of the center for research and development and cloud technologies for data storage. The agreement was signed by Acronis Director Sergei Belousov and Director of SEZ “Innopolis” Igor Nosov.
