The regional contest “IT-champion” has been held for two years. 110, 000 pupils take part in nomination “Most active pupil”. They trained 125, 000 Tatarstan citizens to work on the portal of state services. By results of the final round of the contest 153 pupils will be awarded with laptops. Pupils can also exchange their scores for memorable prizes.

A solemn closing ceremony of World Robot Olympiad was held on November 24. The event united children and young people aged 7-19 from all over the world.

Kazan Startup Week dedicated to 5-year anniversary of Kazan IT-park finished today. Startupers signed an open letter addressed to Russian President Vladimir Putin and attracted $ 980, 000 of investments. The final day of Kazan Startup Week gathered startupers, investors and journalists.

Tatarstan delegation of two teams of pupils, representatives of Innopolis University, and CEO of the Centre of information technologies of the Republic of Tatarstan Tatyana Kamaletdinova took part in opening of World Robot Olympiad in Sochi today.

Pre-appointment to job centers can now be made on Portal of State Services for using the following services:
1. Occupational guidance of citizens for employment and professional education;
2. Assistance in job hunting (for citizens, who apply to job centers for the first time).

Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications has modernized the service of making appointment with doctors. Users can now see the address of a medical organization, and information about doctors.

7620 appeals were sent to the State Information System “Public control” in autumn 2014. 4235 of them were resolved. The status “Motivated refusals” was assigned to 322 appeals.

The second round of training for personnel departments of local self-government on working in unified information system started on November 19. Employees of personnel departments will learn about additional functions of the system.

On November 20, at his meeting with CISCO delegation led by company’s Vice-president Wimo Elfring, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan and CISCO have wide experience of cooperation in different spheres and new areas of cooperation should be found.

Russia is hosting the World Robot Olympiad for the first time. The event opens in Sochi on Friday. Participation in these competitions helps children to develop their creative abilities and increase level of education in the sphere of technology sciences and mathematics.
