All-Russia championship World skills Hi-Tech was held in Yekaterinburg on 30.10.15-3.11.15. Representatives of different Russian regions took part in competitions. The team of Kazan technical school of information technologies and communications took part in the event. Training of Russian teams for World skills championship that will be held in Kazan in 2019 were discussed at World skills Hi-Tech.

Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications and “Tatarstan pochtasy”, a branch of Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Russian post” will provide an opportunity to do alternative military service in communications industry of the republic.  

Telecommunications infrastructure is actively developing in the Republic of Tatarstan. In accordance with development plans for communications industry approved by the ministry of information and communications, communication services are becoming more accessible for population. As a result of systematic work of the ministry 1024 free Wi-Fi access points have been installed in shopping malls, restaurants, and other public places.

Directors of Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny schools were told about new rules for submission of electronic application for enrollment to educational institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On October 28, 2015, “Tatarstan pochtasy”, a branch of Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Russian post” and editorial department of newspaper “Vatanym Tatarstan” conducted a campaign “Subscribe for periodicals with famous people of Tatarstan”.

Regional contest “IT-champion” will last for one more month till November 30. 50,113 pupils taught 61,025 citizens of Tatarstan to work on the Portal of state services.

Tatarstan Ministry of Information and Communications reminds that the contest “School eco patrol” organized with the Ministry of ecology and natural resources will be continued. More than 1, 000 messages have been received for two months.

Boris Trigub, Deputy Director of the Agency for innovations and development of Voronezh region and Aleksandr Tormasov, rector of Innopolis University signed agreement on cooperation aimed at development of the unified information scientific and educational environment and partnership, and innovative activity.

This year Innopolis University had the first mass enrollment of students for Bachelor's and Master's programmes. 700 candidates attended on-campus selection from March to July. They had interviews with international teachers of the biggest IT companies Mail.Ru Group, Parallels, ABBYY, Etton, 2Gis, Flatstack, Nvision Group, ICL-КПО ВС, Infomatica, Polymedia, Acronis and GK Lanit.

The 4th Moscow international forum and show of technologies “Open innovations” will be held in Moscow on October 28-November 1. The forum is the biggest event in Russia that reveals the topic of future technologies in modern life, economy and society. Every year the Republic of Tatarstan takes part in this forum and pays special attention to information technologies.
