Submitting of applications for an IT contest for programmers from all over Russia is ending in Tatarstan. From May 23 to May 30, with the support of Tatarstan Government, the online hackathon “Intelligent Transport Systems and Elements of Situation Centers” will be held.

On September 29, the results of the school hackathon, held during the finals of the All-Russian Digital Breakthrough contest were summed up at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre. As many as 500 students of grades 8-11, interested in programming, from different schools of Tatarstan took part in it. As many as 14 teams became winners.

The final of the All-Russian Digital Breakthrough Contest - one of the flagship projects of “Russia - the Land of Opportunities” Non-Profit Organization will be held in Kazan from September, 27 to September, 29. The decision about holding the event in Kazan was taken at a meeting of the organizing committee of the final contest on July 24.

On March 29, at Smena Modern Culture Centre, IT hackathon on the development of financial services, held by Ak Bars Bank together with the University of Talents with the support of Tatarstan Ministry of Informatization and Communications, the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the republic and Regional Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, was launched.

On January 12-13, at the University of Innopolis, as many as 43 students of 9-11 grades from Kazan, Yoshkar-Ola, Ufa, Innopolis, Yekaterinburg, Naberezhnye Chelny and Arsk took part in the Robohackathon and built robots based on e-designer Arduino and solved problems in physics and mathematics.
