Since January 1, 2021, under the kITyk support programme for IT companies of Tatarstan, reduced rates on a simplified tax system were introduced: namely, 1 per cent for «Income» item and 5 per cent for the item “Income minus expenses”.
On January 28, at the extended meeting, the team of Tatarstan Ministry of Digitalization summed up the results of its work in 2020.
The tax rate for IT companies operating in Tatarstan and being residents of the Technopark in the sphere of high technologies “IT Park” is reduced from 6 per cent to 1 per cent. On July 9, during a working visit to Tatarstan, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin took part in a meeting on the development of the domestic IT industry, during which he announced the introduction of an updated tax regime for IT companies.
