Certification authorities received the right to establish certificates and issue keys of enhanced unqualified e-signatures without the personal presence of the applicant. The norm will come into force on April 1, 2021.

Tatarstan applicants can apply for admission to universities in a convenient and secure online format using a digital signature certificate.

What is the digital signature certificate? An e-signature is not an object that will be physically tangible, but the requisite of a document confirming that the digital signature belongs to its owner, and also confirmes the state of information / data (presence or absence of changes) in the e-document from the moment of its signing.
