The IT-cube children's centre for IT creativity at the Interregional Competence Centre – the Kazan Technical College of Information Technology and Communications enrolls the school children for free courses of IT professions. Classes will start in September.
The eighth grader from Kazan Bulat Kharisov as a member of the Russian national team will take part in the European Junior Olympiad in Informatics. For the international eJOI competition, participants were selected and trained at Innopolis University. They will compete for the victory with students from 23 countries in Slovenia on August 23-29.
On September 21-22, Innopolis University will hold a global online tournament on information security among students of 9-11 grades from all over Russia and foreign countries.
On October 12-13, Stachka regional IT-conference will be held in the Russian city of IT specialists (in Innopolis) for the first time. The event will be interesting for those who want to improve their professional competencies, get useful information and get acquainted with the authors of IT projects.
Two residential sessions for technology teachers from rural areas will be held at the Quantorium Children's Technopark in Naberezhnye Chelny. The first class for 69 teachers from 22 municipal regions of the republic has already started on August 12-16.
During the enrollment campaign to the Higher School of Information Technologies and Intelligent Systems of KFU, applicants submitted over 900 applications for 80 allocated budget places at the IT faculty. Enrollment to the contracted form of training continues.
On July 18, in the IT-park in Kazan, the third class of graduates of inIT social and educational courses on "Web Development" and "Computer Literacy" took place, where participants were handed in the certificates of advanced training.
