On February 8, the selection of startups for participation in the second corporate acceleration programme of the Russian Post and the Skolkovo Foundation started. Up to fifteen young innovative companies will be able to receive funding, work with the best experts, launch a pilot project and scale the business together with the largest logistics company in the country. Legal entities with their own development or technology can participate in the contest. The project should have a product or service with confirmed sales, a team of at least three people, and have commercial potential and scaling prospects.
In 2020, in Tatarstan, the Post processed over 6.7 million postal items, which is 18 per cent more than last year. The biggest workload was in November-December. In the pre-New Year season, Tatarstan postal staff received and sent over 715,000 items per month, while in the non-holiday months, about 550,000 items were received.
